Forklift Operator
Join our team as a Forklift Operator in a dynamic food manufacturing setting, where you will play a vital role in the production and packaging of our quality products.
Responsibilities
- Operate Crown and Toyota sit-down forklifts to efficiently move and organize inventory.
- Stack and organize large bulk items in designated areas.
- Remove inventory from trucks and deliver to the appropriate locations within the facility.
- Update logs and maintain accurate documentation for inventory processing.
- Transport materials from various locations such as facilities, workstations, and pick-up areas.
- Ensure the workspace is clean and remove any safety hazards from aisles.
- Prepare documentation and organize inventory for audits.
- Utilize scanners to enter data for transactions and maintain the Bill of Landing.
- Move inventory and materials across various facilities.
- Process inventory for delivery, including picking, packing, and shipping products.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper locations.
- Scan delivered items to ensure quality standards are met.
- Report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating Crown and Toyota sit-down forklifts.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and prior food manufacturing experience.Ability to consistently lift at least 50-60 lbs repeatedly.Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The work environment is a food manufacturing facility with various rooms, with temperatures ranging from 35 to 50 degrees. Non-slip shoes are required for safety, and the role involves heavy lifting. The warehouse is a smaller facility, promoting a close-knit and supportive team atmosphere.

This is a Contract position based out of Hayward, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 / hr.
