Day shift, 3x12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 00), every other weekend required.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Rehabilitation unit. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients recovering from various conditions including cerebrovascular diseases, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological disorders. You will be part of a collaborative care team focused on developing individualized care plans and delivering physical therapy to patients.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver patient-centered care within an acute rehabilitation setting.

    • \n

  • Administer medications, including anticoagulants and antiseizure medications.

    • \n

  • Conduct assessments and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and blood glucose levels.

    • \n

  • Perform IV therapy, central line care, and venous blood draws.

    • \n

  • Assist with rehabilitation activities and mobilization techniques as part of patient recovery.

    • \n

  • Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge needs.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

    • \n

  • 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital / unit preferred.

    • \n

  • Current BLS certification (must be from AHA).

    • \n

  • Valid WV or Compact RN license (with ability to submit a pending license).
