Clinical Therapist - Adult Mental Health

JOB SUMMARY

The Clinical Therapist - Adult Mental Health is a Master's level professional responsible for providing onsite and offsite direct care services to adult clients, including community support, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management. The therapist supports individuals who are integrated within the recovery community and are not enrolled in ACT, CST, or CSR programming.

JOB DUTIES

• Provide 30 hours of direct, billable patient contact weekly.
• Complete IM+CANS assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Deliver stabilization, assessment, and crisis intervention services.
• Maintain compliance with DMH, Rule 132 / 140, and other regulatory bodies.
• Support clients through case management, resource referrals, and housing assistance.
• Conduct regular documentation and maintain accurate client records.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Occupational Risk for Exposure to TB :

There is an occupational risk for exposure to TB, as this position involves extensive community and patient contact. Employees in this role are required to comply with annual TB testing as part of workplace health and safety protocols. The only acceptable exceptions to this requirement are documented medical contraindications or religious objections. Employees who decline TB testing will be required to wear a mask when deemed necessary.
