Employment Type : Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing Contract)

Start Date : September 8, 2025

End Date : December 8, 2025

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Hours per Week : 36

Shift : 12 Hour Day Shifts (07 : 00-19 : 00)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,150 - $1,230

Team Nursing Model : 1 RN & 1 LPN for 8 patients, supported by Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Dress Code : Navy Blue Scrubs

Electronic Medical Record : MEDITECH EMR

LPN Qualifications & Requirements

Active LPN or LVN license (Virginia nursing license preferred)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Cardiac monitoring experience in a healthcare setting

Minimum 1 year of Med / Surg or stepdown nursing experience

Ability to work collaboratively in a team nursing environment

Med / Surg LPN Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for medical stepdown patients in a hospital setting

Administer medications and perform wound care procedures

Support Registered Nurse (RN) with patient care duties as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Work closely with Patient Care Technician (PCT) for vital signs and additional clinical support

Maintain accurate documentation using MEDITECH electronic medical record system

Uphold professional standards and hospital dress code (navy blue scrubs)
