job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition : Mental Health Coordinator Role involves planning and providing clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature in the facility. Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates. Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning level. Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques for individuals in caseload. Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
