Travel Ortho Neuro Surgical Registered Nurse - $2,242 per week

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Previous experience with our types of patients above, including IMC / stepdown acuity and Neuro

Ability to read / interpret cardiac strips, chest tubes, trach care (no fresh traches), NGT tube placement and management, JP drains, line management – PICC / Midline / CVL / PIV placement, wound vacs (Wound Care RN will change out the vac but RN must know how to assess and will need to change to wet / dry dressing in case of malfunction), wound care / dressing changes, medication administration, TPN / tube feeding, blood product transfusions, urinary and fecal collection devices

Drip titration of below medications :

most commonly – Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Levophed (up to 5 mcg), occasionally esmolol drips (will train if traveler has not done these) or other Betablockers or other antihypertensives
