• Experience in post-cath and post-operative heart surgery care
• Ability to manage unstable acute myocardial infarction

Description :

The position involves providing intensive nursing care in a critical care setting.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 2 : 1, with 1 : 1 for immediate post-operative care and 1 : 1 for LVAD patients.

The nurse will also care for patients on ECMO at a 1 : 2 ratio.

Charting will be done using Epic Systems.

Nurses may be required to float to areas within their skill set as needed.

Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.

Special procedures include ECMO and bedside emergent re-entry.

Navy blue scrubs are required for this position.
