Maintenance Technician

Full Time Maintenance Technician Needed for All Shifts

Four Day Work Week (Mon-Thurs) or Three Day Work Week (Fri-Sun)

Position is located in just south of Richmond, VA

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team south of Richmond, VA. Relocation to be close to the facility will be required. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment inside an industrial setting. To be successful in this role you will need to complete work orders, read blueprints / schematics, and troubleshoot complex equipment where the repair is not immediately obvious. You will need to perform preventative maintenance on lifts, pneumatics, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Operate large power equipment including lifts and pallet jacks
  • Access freight and equipment in elevated areas
  • Troubleshoot and repair forklifts, conveyors, building equipment, automated equipment
  • Read blueprints and schematics
  • Complete work order in a timely manner
  • Write documents, reports detailing work completed and issues that need to be addressed

Qualifications

  • 2 years' experience in industrial maintenance working with electrical, electronics, and mechanical equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
