Job Title Chief Facility Engineer (P)
Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a
Chief Facility Engineer (CFE) to lead and manage facilities and grounds operations supporting an intelligence community customer in the National Capital Region (NCR). The CFE is a key member of a team delivering a wide range of BOS support including installation, facility operations, maintenance, repair, engineering support, logistics, and project management at facilities in the Washington NCR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include :
- Manage and operate mechanical, life safety, electrical, and plumbing systems of BOS facilities and grounds.
- Oversee CAD drawing development and review CAD products for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage contract operations related to building management systems, including CMMS, BAS, and EPMS.
- Ensure compliance with government and local regulations, codes, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with the client to understand needs and communicate standards to staff and vendors.
- Maintain effective relationships with the customer for mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Improve BOS delivery processes to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Develop and review performance specifications and procedures; train staff accordingly.
- Ensure legal and safety compliance.
- Monitor service delivery for quality standards; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and analyze activities for performance improvements.
- Seek client feedback, attend meetings, prepare reports, and support audits and inspections.
Security Clearance Requirement : Top Secret SCI with Polygraph
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field.Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S.; Electrical or Mechanical Engineer licensure preferred.At least 10 years of managing facilities and systems of similar scope.Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.Experience with complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and critical facilities.Experience managing construction and capital projects.Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, and project management methodologies.PMP or similar certification preferred; knowledge of process improvement models is a plus.We offer a competitive salary and benefits.
