Opportunity : Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details :

• Work primarily 11 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM Monday through Friday, with potential for earlier shifts
• Saturday shifts are a possibility
• PET CT experience is mandatory (minimum 1 year required)
• Handle approximately 10 patients per day
• Work with outpatient, cancer, and PET diagnosis patients
• Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures
• Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals
• Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license
• Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser
• All certifications and licenses must be active, current, and in hand at time of submission
• Required : Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT
• Required : State licensure (Louisiana : LRT (N) by LSRTBE)
• Required : BLS certification
• Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent required
• Basic computer experience required
• No on-call requirements
