A respected and growing engineering consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support its expanding operations in Central Texas. With flexibility to be based in either Austin or San Antonio, this role offers the chance to work on a wide range of impactful projects while contributing to a collaborative and technically focused team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field investigations, soil sampling, and laboratory testing programs
- Perform geotechnical analyses for foundations, retaining walls, slope stability, and pavements
- Prepare detailed technical reports and design recommendations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, and environmental disciplines
- Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to support project delivery
- Assist with project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and proposal development
