job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAnalyze, test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment. Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared. Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Eight (8) years of professional experience of practical hands-on experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Navy C5I, secure networks, communications systems, navigation systems, and sonar systems). Five (5) years of professional experience in the maintenance and repair of SURTASS C4I systems, SURTASS processing systems, and SURTASS arrays (active and passive). Associate Degree in Computer Science or be a graduate of US Navy Information Systems Technicians "A" school or equivalent civilian information technology school. DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent Operating System certifications for : Configuring Windows Server 2012 (70-410) Administering Windows Server 2012 (70-411) LINUX, UNIX, or equivalent Database Management.
