To support the aspirations of these games, the Studio makes significant investments in developing and advancing the League game platform through the Tech Foundations team. Chemtech Platform is an organization within Tech Foundations that develops back-end services, environments, and release systems for League of Legends (LOL) and Teamfight Tactics (TFT).As a Technical Product Manager III (TPM) at Riot, you will combine technical knowledge with product leadership to provide players and game developers with essential features and supporting systems. As a TPM on the Chemtech Platform Build Test Ship Team, you will lead product strategy and roadmap for the developer infrastructure team that powers LOL and TFT. This team encompasses the dev environments, build and deploy tools, release and quality frameworks processes that empowers both game and services developers for the Studio. You will partner with engineering and production leaders across Riot to guide the product lifecycle from start to finish. You will define product requirements using your deep knowledge of the customer problem ensuring there is a clear value proposition and definition of success. You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Product Management on Chemtech Platform.Responsibilities : Own a product space that provides internal development environments and release capabilities that enable League Studio game developers to successfully ship their productsManage essential customer and partner relationships, including game teams and central platform teams that support your product spaceActively manage project scope as a result of customer and partner communications and ensure the product development is aligned with objectivesDevelop and uphold service-level objectives and agreements for your product space, in collaboration all core customers and supporting organizationsPartnering with the other Build Test Ship team leads, foster a high velocity, high performance development tooling organizationRequired Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent. experience with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills\Minimum of 6+ years of technical product management or product related experienceProven ability to navigate resource constraints and deliver cost optimized, pragmatic solutions that meet customer needsProven collaboration skills that span multiple teams, departments, and disciplines to create solutionsExperience in product requirements, prioritization frameworks, and guiding investment strategies in people and systemsExperience in driving customer adoption and acceptance for products in developmentDesired Qualifications : Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience in products / platforms that power developer and QA experiencesExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, MS AzureExperience with SRE, DevOps, CI / CD tools and frameworksFamiliarity with Agile and Lean development processes and practicesFor this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players.
