Sr Plumber

    Duties : Sr Plumber

    Responsible for complex plumbing tasks, provides technical guidance to technicians, assists with coordination, and ensures compliance in plumbing systems throughout a hospital facility. Leveraging extensive expertise, this role is critical in maintaining essential services that directly impact patient care, safety, and infection control.

    Required Qualifications : Sr Plumber

  • Minimum of four years plumbing experience around machinery required.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • State of Nebraska Journeyman Plumber / Fitter license required.
  • Basic computer, email, and database skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of customers (e.g., patient care providers, patients, visitors, management, etc.) required.
  • Mechanically inclined and proficient with plumbing tools, drain cleaning equipment, and diagnostic devices required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and plumbing schematics required.
  • Current valid motor vehicle operator license and ability to meet and maintain insurability required.
  • Preferred Qualifications : Sr Plumber

  • Master plumbing license preferred.
  • Familiarity with healthcare facility systems (medical gas, biohazard waste lines) preferred.
