Senior Project Engineer – Structural Steel – Norwalk, CT Why this role is good for you

You’ll step into a leadership role on structural steel projects, handling technical oversight, cost reporting, and documentation while preparing for advancement into Project Management.

What you’ll be working on (and more)

Take ownership of project controls on structural steel projects.

Manage safety compliance, submittals, RFIs, and QC / QA.

Oversee CPM schedules and project closeout.

What you’ll do day-to-day

Track and report project costs.

Manage submittals, RFIs, and document control.

Ensure compliance with steel codes and safety requirements.

Assist PMs in planning and execution of project scope.

What you bring

Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management.

5+ years experience in construction with structural steel.

Valid Driver’s License.

Familiarity with HCSS HeavyJob, Vista, CAD, and P6 preferred.
