Schedule This position requires a 12-hour night shift. The traveler must work a minimum of every other weekend and may be scheduled to meet the unit and patient care needs, including working two out of four holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day. Job Description The Medical / Surgical Telemetry RN Float will provide care to patients in the Med / Surg Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed. There is no call requirement for this position. Responsibilities Float to various Med / Surg Tele and Medical-Surgical units as required. Administer patient care based on established protocols and guidelines. Maintain strong communication with team members and medical staff. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Mandatory AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. PCCN and orthopedic certifications are preferred. Prior travel nursing experience is required. Experience in a teaching hospital is required. Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
