What You’ll Do

As an Anesthesia Technician , you’ll play a key role in providing safe and effective anesthesia and patient monitoring for both specialty and emergency cases. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth procedures and the highest standard of care for every patient.

In this role, you will :

Anesthesia & Surgical Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technician for anesthesia cases, managing induction, monitoring, and recovery
  • Assist with specialty, emergency, and routine surgical procedures
  • Develop and follow anesthesia plans in collaboration with veterinarians
  • Prepare and maintain surgical and anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Record accurate patient information, anesthetic parameters, and treatment plans
  • Monitor patient vitals and pain levels, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each procedure
  • Support postoperative recovery and communicate updates to the medical team

General Technician Duties

  • Safely handle and restrain patients for exams, procedures, and diagnostics
  • Place IV catheters and administer medications (IV, IM, SQ, oral)
  • Perform laboratory tests and obtain diagnostic samples as needed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked surgical and treatment areas
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Anticipated Schedule

    This is a full-time position with the following schedule :

  • Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and rotating Thursday / Saturday : 7 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM
  • One day per week : 9 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM
  • Compensation

  • $25–30 / hour , depending on experience

  • Requirements

    What We’re Looking For

  • Previous veterinary technician experience required
  • Anesthesia experience required; specialty or emergency experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
