Overview

Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living. Full-Time and Part-Time Restaurant Servers / Wait Staff. Shifts / Days vary including weekends. Pay : $19 per hour (no tips). Free meals for kitchen staff. Open Interviews : Tuesday 12pm-4pm or Thursday 10am-12pm at 3880 Nobel Dr, La Jolla, CA 92122.

This role supports creating a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience during meals and special events within our Assisted Living community. You will work with the Dining Room Coordinator and other Servers to provide hands-on table service and assist with event meal service. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, empathetic, thrives in a fast-paced, physically active environment, collaborates well, and embraces a growth mindset focused on hospitality for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in the on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments, and beverages are ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Dining Room and assigned tables, meeting guest needs throughout each meal.
