Job Coach, Individual Employment Services

About the Role
As a Job Coach, you will provide direct support to individuals with disabilities at their job sites, helping them learn job tasks, develop workplace skills, and navigate employment challenges. You’ll work closely with both participants and employers to ensure a positive and productive work experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one job coaching and support to individuals at their workplaces.
- Assist with learning job tasks, workplace expectations, and professional skills.
- Collaborate with employers to foster an inclusive and supportive work environment.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback, encouragement, and problem-solving strategies.
- Enter and update information using the iPad, ensuring accurate and accessible records.

Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.Comfortable ascending and descending stairs.Capacity to push or pull wheelchairs when necessary.Proficiency in speaking, reading, hearing, and understanding technical written materials.Lift up to 25 lbs using safe lifting techniquesFull awareness of environmental stimuli to ensure a safe and responsive environment.Willingness to be trained in and implement crisis management and safety techniquesNote : ADA accommodations available.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalentAt least one (1) year of experience working with persons with developmental and / or other disabilities in individual and / or group settings preferredDemonstrated ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality regarding persons served and other related informationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTechnical Proficiency : Ability to effectively navigate and utilize iPad features and applications for daily tasks, including managing schedules, communication, and data entry.Ability to complete tasks with numerous interruptionsCompassion and respect for persons with disabilitiesAbility to demonstrate patience and understanding because people served may have intellectual, emotional, or behavioral challenges, in addition to physical limitationsMay need to be available during any disasters, per disaster planMust have reliable phoneValid certification in CPR / First Aid (Training included)Benefits :
