Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in oncology.

The position is in an outpatient setting.

The shift is from 07 : 30 to 17 : 00, Monday through Friday.

There are no weekend requirements.

First-time travelers are welcome.

The nurse will float within the scope to meet facility needs as necessary.

No call requirement for this position.

The successful candidate will have experience in accessing and managing ports.

Experience with acute tumor lysis syndrome and chemotherapy administration is required.

Knowledge in managing various cancer types, including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors, is essential.

The nurse will be responsible for patient education and support.

Skills in phlebotomy, central line care, and IV management are needed.

Strong competencies in monitoring patients during chemotherapy are crucial.

The role emphasizes a commitment to patient care and effective team collaboration.

All candidates must hold a BSN degree.

Additional certifications such as OCN are preferred.
