The Assistant Manager supports the daily operations, ensuring excellent patient care, efficient workflow, and high-quality eyewear services. This role assists the Optical Manager in supervising staff, driving sales performance, maintaining inventory, and providing expert optical guidance to patients. Additional responsibilities include :
Assist the Optical Manager with daily operations, staff supervision, and scheduling.
Provide outstanding customer service by helping patients select frames and lenses that meet their visual and aesthetic needs.
Perform eyewear adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs to ensure comfort and proper vision correction.
Accurately interpret prescriptions and ensure lenses are ordered and fabricated to specifications.
Maintain accurate records, manage orders, and oversee inventory levels of frames, lenses, and accessories.
Support and train new team members on optical procedures, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
Help meet and exceed sales goals through team motivation, product knowledge, and effective merchandising.
Ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA, and state / federal optical regulations.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly to ensure patient satisfaction.
Assist with reporting, performance tracking, and operational improvements as directed by management.
