Patrol Officer

Essential Job Functions :
Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Rivers Core Values at all timesPractice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive work atmosphereMaintain grooming and uniform standards. Overall appearance is to be immaculate and nametags are to be worn at all timesProvides exceptional customer service to guests at all timesBe aware of and handle guest opportunitiesMaintain daily log, i.e. time clocks, sign-in sheets when availableRespond to disturbances in order to defuse the incident. Be prepared to become involved in a physical confrontation when necessary. Always remain AlertObserve, report, and take-action as directed by leadership with respect to all suspicious, unusual situationsResponds to suspicions of problem or underage gambling and alcohol or drug intoxication in accordance with established procedures and protocolsContacts supervisor when security situations require intervention beyond scope of authorityEnsures compliance with operational procedures for activities such as guest service standards, fire prevention emergency response, guarding and patrolling the physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel involved with gaming protection activities, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal labor laws and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations and guidelines.Protect assets and ensure observance of applicable state and local laws and casino regulationsExclusively patrols external casino property to maintain safety and security of guests and team members outside of the building and in the parking lots at all timesProvides guests and team members with escorts from the casino doors to their vehicles to ensure their safety and securityAssist guests and team members with disabled vehicles, traffic, enforcement of authorized parking and other duties as assignedAssists management and state and local enforcement officers in emergency situations outside the facility onlyResponds to emergencies outside the facility in accordance with established procedures.Assists in preparation of reports as requiredPerforms all other duties as assignedQualifications :
Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh School diploma or equivalentSix months or more related experienceMust be able to communicate appropriately with established and new guests / players and team membersExcellent oral and written communication skillsAvailable to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidaysPhysical and Mental Demands :
