  • Case Mix : 95% Surgical, 5% Other; bread and butter cases, outpatient surgery, ICU intubations, medically directed C-sections

  • Specialty Backup Available : Full physician supervision (100% medically directed)

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Pennsylvania license required
  • Board : Board Certified CRNA
  • DEA : Not required
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS
  • Experience : Obstetrics experience required (C-sections and spinals)
  • Other Qualifications : Will also consider providers already credentialed at other UPMC sites

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide anesthesia coverage across main OR, surgery center, and L&D (approx. 80% OR, 15% surgery, 5% L&D)
  • Perform spinals, intubations, MAC, GA, and other anesthesia procedures
  • Support elective surgical schedule and assist with overflow and emergent procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and anesthesia team in a medically directed model
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
