Overview
Senior UX / UI Designer role at the Russian School of Mathematics (RSM). This position leads end-to-end product design to support thousands of students, parents, teachers, and staff across user-facing portals, establishing and operationalizing UX / UI discipline for all products.
What You’ll Do
As Senior UX / UI Designer, you will be responsible for standing up end-to-end product design and shaping the experience across student, parent, teacher, and staff portals. You will drive the design of new and existing products to improve usability, adoption, and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operationalize qualitative and quantitative customer feedback loops. Work with researchers and PMs to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving usability, adoption, and satisfaction across portals.
- Redesign and deliver new and enhanced product components, moving quickly from insight to execution with real users.
- Build out core design tools, processes, and reusable design systems to ensure product design is trusted and effective across the org.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with a front-end engineering team, PMs, researchers, and designers, with guidance from the Fractional product leader.
- Maintain autonomy on workflows and primary decision-making power on design decisions, championing best practices and helping set strategic product priorities.
- Educate and align the organization on the value and mechanics of product design with clear, evidence-based rationale for decisions.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity by embedding those principles in product development for diverse learners and stakeholders.
