Director of Outpatient Clinical Services
Leadership and Administration :
- Oversee day-to-day operations of OMH and OASAS-licensed outpatient programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Supervise clinical staff, providing ongoing training, support, and guidance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that meet New York State OMH standards and best practices.
- Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration.
- Assist with development and implementation of the Quality Improvement Collaboratives.
- Represent the agency in community partnerships, coalitions, and professional networks.
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, managed care organizations, schools, and community-based providers.
Clinical Oversight :
Provide clinical oversight and supervision to clinical supervisors, clinicians, and administrative staff.Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and culturally responsive treatment services.Develop and monitor treatment plans, conduct regular assessments of clients' progress, and make necessary adjustments.Support integration of co-occurring disorder treatment and trauma-informed care practices.Provide crisis intervention when necessary and ensure that emergency procedures are followed.Oversee open access hours and handle after hours crisis.Fiscal and Resource Management :
Assist with managing program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.Monitor and manage performance metrics.Ensure appropriate documentation and billing practices for reimbursement.Relationship with Others :

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing in New York State with SIFI certification.Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience in behavioral health, including 3 years in a supervisory or program management role.Experience managing OMH and / or OASAS-licensed programs and demonstrated knowledge of applicable regulations.Experience with integrated care models and co-occurring disorder treatment.Clinical knowledge of evidence-based interventions for mental health and substance use disorders.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Familiarity with New York State Office of Mental Health guidelines and regulations.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation requirements.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Be familiar with the Social Determinants of Health framework, person centered care, family driven care, and peer support.Knowledge of Excel, Power Point, and Electronic Medical Records is a plus.Excellent organizational and writing skills.Be a strong team player.Possess excellent communication and leadership skills.Work well with others and feel comfortable providing direction and guidance to subordinates.Evidence of the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.Develop a trusting and supportive relationship with subordinates.Have a strong sensitivity to cultural differences presented among staff and clients within the agency.Demonstrates excellent crisis intervention skills and can remain calm while handling crises.
