Job Description

The purpose of this Knoxville, TN based job is to design, maintain, and upgrade critical cloud-related infrastructure running on Windows and Unix for the IT organization. This person is expected to have a well-rounded framework of knowledge around the software development lifecycle, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code languages and platforms. This person will also display knowledge around cloud best practices and security.

• Manage and execute cloud infrastructure projects to improve the efficiency, availability, and performance of the company's cloud-hosted systems
• Determine project specifications based on business and user needs, and review pricing options for projects based on current service prices
• Research, Architect, develop, and help implement processes and workloads on AWS and other cloud providers
• Assist in the resolution of complex performance and availability issues
• Architect and build CICD and Infrastructure as Code for cloud workloads
• Provide feedback on issues to appropriate developers and IT team members to improve functionality and performance
• Mentor and provide guidance to other Cloud Operations team members

• Complete other duties as assigned
