Position details :
Reedsburg Area Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Documentation Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and processing patient information within our Electronic Medical Record (Epic) system. Key duties include requesting, receiving, preparing, digitizing, and entering documentation, as well as importing external records and performing quality checks for accuracy and integrity.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with highly confidential information and experienced in analyzing documentation and retrieving electronic images.
This position also serves as a key resource for the release of patient information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

Education Required :
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant Experience desired
