About The Position

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have :

• MS / Tele experience
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• IV insulin protocols
• Feeding tube care and management
• Blood product administration
• Peripheral line care / management
• Tracheostomy management
• Wound care / wound vac

Description :

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Med / Surg / Tele unit.

Normal patient ratios for days and evenings are 5 : 1.

Night ratios may stretch to 6 or 7 : 1.

Patients include those with osteoarthritis and fractures.

The nurse will work alongside a team, including PCTs and an in-house phlebotomy team.

Responsibilities include managing PICC lines and central lines.

The role requires the interpretation of cardiac rhythms and management of cardiac drips without titration.

Experience with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma care is essential.

The nurse may float to similar units as needed to meet facility needs.

Open to accommodating block schedules, though not guaranteed.

COVID-19 vaccination is not required.

Other daily tasks may involve vital signs monitoring and assisting with activities of daily living.

This position is critical in delivering quality patient care and ensuring a supportive environment for all patients.
