Sr. Manager, Software Engineering

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineering Manager to develop and guide a team of Engineers within the PlayStation Monetization / Commerce space. This system delights and engages users across our many PlayStation platforms, including the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, web, mobile, and beyond. You will be responsible for developing a wide engineering org and creating a productive engineering environment and levelling up your team and our capabilities. You will collaborate with business users, product managers, UX designers and other technical teams across the globe in the execution of our Monetization / Commerce objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Leading, mentoring, and empowering a growing team of hardworking engineers to deliver against strategic business outcomes
• Establishing a strong and inclusive engineering culture
• Assist in the delivery of multiple projects across multiple platforms. Helping teams estimate, plan, and slice projects to frequently deliver value to production.
• Collaborate across business units and product teams spread over multiple timezones execute against the team's vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Act as a change agent, initiating appropriate changes to support continuous business improvement
• Comfort with proactively and independently working towards results in large, distributed team environments.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. The estimated base pay range for this role is $225,900 - $338,900 USD.
