Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver :

  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and complete necessary DOT inspection reports.
  • Verify the bill of lading and store keys accurately for off-hour deliveries.
  • Safely drive the tractor-trailer to various destinations, adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Keep accurate driver logs (manual or Peoplenet) following DOT regulations, detailing delivery confirmations and product conditions.
  • Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations.
  • Fulfill additional duties as required.

    • Qualifications for Our CDL-A Teammate :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
  • Have at least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Meet McLane's MVR and risk rating requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level appropriate for performing job functions effectively and safely.
