• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.\n
• Serves as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.\n
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.\n
• Assesses and coordinates patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.\n\nQualifications\n\nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed\n
• Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred or currently enrolled in BSN Program; must be willing to obtain BSN within 3 years from date of hire\n
• Work experience - 1 year of MedSurg nursing experience preferred\n
• BLS - Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required\n
• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and / or Compact State Licensure credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required\n
• ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA Preferred)\n
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
