About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Iowa

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Proficient in reading telemetry strips and rhythms
• Experience with Heparin and other drips
• Comfort caring for ED observation, overnight stays, and varied post-operative surgical overnight stays including PACU and post cath patients

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

You will care for patients requiring ED observation and overnight stays.

You will manage varied post-operative surgical patients including those in PACU and patients with vascular access devices.

The patient ratio will be 4-5 : 1, with a maximum of 7 patients.

You will be required to float across different campuses as necessary.

Navy blue solid scrubs are required for this position.

Candidates must have completed a travel contract in the previous 12 months.

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position.
