Join our team in constructing / remodeling the Austin convention center. This role involves working with carbon and steel pipefitting, focusing on chilled water systems and carbon steel piping ranging from 4 to 30 inches.

Responsibilities

• Perform carbon and steel pipefitting on chilled water systems.
• Work with piping sizes ranging from 4 to 30 inches.
• Adapt quickly to changing project needs and assist in various tasks as necessary.
• Maintain a positive attitude and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Operate safely at heights and outdoors, including on rooftops.

Work Environment

The role involves working outdoors on commercial construction projects, primarily from Monday to Friday, 6 am to 3 pm, with potential for Saturday work and overtime. You must be comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
