Recruiting Lead
Oliver Wyman is seeking a Recruiting Lead to oversee recruiting for Oliver Wyman Actuarial. This role will be responsible for managing all lateral and Partner hiring across the group and will be a key member of the broader Oliver Wyman Experienced Hire Recruiting function in the region.
- This is a hybrid role that will require a presence in the office 3 days per week. There is no option to be fully remote.
Key responsibilities include :
Manage lateral and Partner hiring for OW Actuarial Life, Health and Property & Casualty practices in the AmericasTalent identification : Utilize various channels including direct applications, employee referrals, direct sourcing, job board postings and search firms to identify outstanding candidates across OWAQuality Assurance : Define essential skill sets and screening criteria to maintain high standards and consistency throughout the recruitment processSearch Firm Management : Manage external search firm relationships across OW ActuarialStakeholder relations : Manage relations with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and alignment in recruitment effortsCandidate Experience : Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates while upholding out employee branding standardsOnboarding : Partner with Human Capital stakeholders to facilitate a smooth onboarding process, ensuring new hires are integration effectively into our cultureStrategic Insights : Conduct regular market analyses and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement in our recruitment processExperience required :
8+ years of relevant recruiting experience in a fast-paced and dynamic client services business environmentActuarial and / or Insurance industry experience preferredBachelor's DegreeExecutive search experience preferred but not requiredSkills and attributes :
Proven ability to establish and grow relationships at all levels within an organizationCredible, highly professional, able to communicate and negotiate effectively while managing diverse personalities, cultures and backgroundsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor the message to fit the audienceSelf-motivated and proactive; someone who takes full ownership of her / his work and is flexible to prioritize or reprioritize as neededComfortable working with data (excel, PowerPoint)Creative, strategic thinker who continually seeks ways to improve processesA strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously; as well as the ability to organize, prioritize and manage one's day and schedule to effectively to meet deadlinesComfortable working independently, but can thrive in a team setting; all while working in a fast-paced environment.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
