You'll perform as a Global Supply Chain Management, Procurement Engineer, Principle. You'll coordinates with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering, the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate the design, production, test and qualification of aerospace and defense products. Analyzes technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and parts / equipment availability. Investigates and recommends potential suppliers based on assessments of response to specifications, costs, inspection of facilities, and historical performance. Facilitate technical trade-offs and standardization that may lead to more economical procurement. Recommends design changes to mitigate production issues. Leads teams of Supplier and internal staff in collaboratively solving problems in Producibility, Quality, Inspection, Cost, Mistake-Proofing, Test, Reliability and Affordability.

This role will be based at the Lockheed Martin CHICAGO TELEWORK HUB, 12345 LOCKHEED WAY, CHICAGO, IL 60131 Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The ability to obtain a Secret Clearance after you're hired is required Domestic travel will be required (up to 40%)

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Experience in Production Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, or Contracts and advanced negotiation experience
• Experience effectively communicating with senior leaders to include program, company, subcontractors, and customers
• Experience leading a cross functional team and mitigating any challenges or issues that arise
• Experience training, coaching, and / or mentoring new and emerging talent
• Experience operating autonomously, driving actions and results
• Experience in Leadership or Management
• Domestic travel will be required (up to 40%)

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $138,100 - $243,455. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
