Electrical Controls Engineer

We continue to grow and are adding an Electrical Controls Engineer to lead our continued growth with engineered-to-order control cabinets.

What You Will Do

• Partner with Application Engineering to define control cabinet opportunities and costs.
• Review customer control system designs and lead design improvement discussions with customers.
• Assist the sales team by engaging the customer in technical discussions to support new opportunities.
• Create drawings and parts lists for customer orders.
• Use SolidWorks Electrical to generate drawings of the control cabinet, layout drawings, control cabinet schematics, wire lists, terminal block layouts, and parts lists for customer orders.
• Work closely with key departments such as manufacturing and development engineering, confirming products meet / exceed customer expectations.
• Partner with Production to identify tooling needs and design a work cell for control cabinets.
• Choose materials and calculate / analyze costs.
