Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Trauma ICU

\n\n

Job Details : \n

  • Work night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week

    • \n

  • Weekend coverage as needed on rotating basis

    • \n

  • No call requirements

    • \n

  • Float to ICU and any progressive unit as needed

    • \n

  • Maintain typical 1 : 2 patient ratio, varies during shift based on needs

    • \n

  • Work with specialized equipment including CRRT machine, Abbott Balloon pump, External Vent Drain, Impella, PrismaFlex

    • \n

  • Use EPIC electronic medical records system

    • \n

  • Care for heart surgery and neuro patients (stroke, brain surgery)

    • \n

  • Must have cardiac / open heart and CABG experience

    • \n

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS

    • \n

  • Black scrubs required

    • \n

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care including physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support

    • \n

  • Develop nursing diagnoses and establish care objectives

    • \n

  • Must be competent team player with good work ethic and flexibility

    This healthcare facility is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center featuring a 14-bed Cardiothoracic ICU (expanding to 26 beds). The facility maintains Missouri Level II Stroke Center and Level I STEMI Center designations, demonstrating excellence in critical care services.
