Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our logistics and inventory management processes by efficiently loading trucks with cylinders, billing incoming trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory records using a Windows-based operating system. Additionally, you will occasionally use a hand-operated pallet jack to transport materials from production to the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sit down and stand up forklifts to load trucks with cylinders.
  • Bill trucks as they arrive to pick up shipments from the factory.
  • Log inventory movements using a Windows-based operating system.
  • Utilize a hand-operated pallet jack to move materials from production to the warehouse.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in operating forklifts, including reach trucks and sit down forklifts.
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Basic computer skills for logging inventory movements.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating a reach truck or sit down forklift.
  • At least 6 months of experience in inventory, shipping, and receiving.

    Work Environment

    You will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with running machines and equipment, specifically in building 2. The position operates on the first shift from 6 AM to 2 : 20 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime available.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
