Responsibilities Position is based in a hospital serving a high-volume, Level I Trauma emergency department Night shift schedule consists of 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 9 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am Performs a variety of radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiologist Serves a diverse patient population, including newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients Responsible for performing high-quality radiology procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines Must demonstrate ability to work independently and handle stressful situations professionally Expected to maintain equipment, ensure departmental safety, and assist with supply inventory Role includes communication with patients and families regarding procedures and exam preparation Position requires adherence to infection control and proper sterile technique Any color scrubs may be worn, except denim Requirements Minimum of 2 years of radiology technologist experience required Active ARRT and TMB certifications required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Must hold an active TX license if applicable Experience in a busy trauma setting and proficiency in emergency radiology procedures required Must provide two professional references for consideration Mandatory flu vaccination required during the season (August - November) Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618742.
