Essential Duties and Primary Functions
- Support CBIZ Pharmacy Practice, CBIZ internal partners, and clients in pharmacy benefit plan analysis, design and strategy recommendations
- Support CBIZ Pharmacy Practice, CBIZ internal partners, and clients with issue resolution and daily account management activities
- Support CBIZ Pharmacy Practice, CBIZ internal partners, and clients with annual, mid-year, quarterly reviews, renewal meetings, implementations, and ongoing status meetings when appropriate
- Perform analyses on an ad hoc basis as required to support both internal partners and external client requests
- In collaboration with the Pharmacy Practice, develop and catalog standard pharmacy management deliverables and corresponding business rules
- Participate in business process improvement efforts to expand and streamline current internal initiatives and productivity
- Leverage and embrace technology to drive process improvement, operational efficiency and improved outcomes
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to define and support the CBIZ culture within the Pharmacy Practice and across the organization
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of five years' experience working for a pharmacy benefits manager, consulting firm, or in another pharmacy-related capacityExcellent communication, analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skillsSuccess in managing and growing client relationshipsSuccess in supporting and developing relationships with internal partnersComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)Ability to travel when necessaryStrong interest in learning pharmacy industry concepts and emerging trendsStrong desire to join & grow with a high-performing and driven pharmacy teamHighly motivated, detail-oriented, and independent individualMinimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED requiredUp to 6 years of experience managing multiple clients of increasing complexity in the insurance industryMust maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to the field of expertiseTechnical knowledge relative to industry and incorporating contract provisions, renewal, and claims processing, plan knowledge, and carrier fundingExpertise in managing clients with alternative funding arrangementsProficient use of applicable technologyExpert knowledge of state and federal legislationSets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate deliverablesDemonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyAdvanced problem-solving and critical thinking skillsMust be able to travel based on client and business needs
