job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork in an adult outpatient orthopedic setting Perform X-ray imaging on a variety of orthopedic anatomical regions including ankle, foot, knee, spine, shoulder, and hand Schedule includes Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. with shifts varying between 4, 8, 10, and 12 hours as scheduled by the department Possible Saturday shift from 9 : 00 a.m. to 1 : 00 p.m. Floating required to all other orthopedic locations Charting is performed using Epic EMR Main responsibilities include performing X-rays for various orthopedic cases while adhering to infection prevention and isolation precautions Must be flexible to float between multiple locations as needed Some Saturday coverage may be required based on departmental needs Return staff must have a minimum 1 year gap between assignments Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible A maximum of 5 days of requested time off is allowed for a 13-week contract Modules and orientation are completed prior to start, with some paid preparation time First-time travelers will be considered Orthopedic experience is preferred Valid ARRT (R) certification and BLS required Minimum of 1 year of X-ray technologist experience, specifically in orthopedics Active NY state radiology license required Prior experience with Epic EMR is mandatory Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong communication, adaptability, and punctuality High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
