Are you passionate about helping others and making a real difference? As a Medication Technician , you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents. You won’t just be administering medications, you’ll be a trusted caregiver, a health advocate, and a comforting presence in their daily lives.
In this rewarding role, you'll ensure medications and treatments are delivered with accuracy and care, support daily health monitoring, and provide compassionate, hands-on assistance that helps our residents thrive. Primary Responsibilities :
Passes medications and gives treatments.Obtains and records resident vital signs, weight, food, and fluid intake and output.Assist with medication refills, ordering, and inventory management to ensure an adequate supply of medications is available.Assists new residents and families in the orientation process.Assist with daily health monitoring, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and providing personal care as needed.Assists all residents with activities of daily living, as needed.Assists residents in preparing for activities, social programs, and transporting.Interacts with residents in friendly manner while structuring their day and monitoring their needs.Maintains accurate documentation in resident’s charts and in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR).Assists with meal service✅ What You’ll Need :
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical assisting or a related field, preferred.1 year of medication passing experience in a healthcare setting, preferredPrevious experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with seniors or in long-term care.Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) systems, preferred.The above is a summary of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties this position will be required to perform.
