American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with a current California Fluoroscopy Permit and cath lab experience for a pediatric through geriatric population.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an inpatient interventional radiology unit with patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatricsDay shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PMCall and float requirements are includedUnit uses Epic for chartingProcedures performed include TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, angiograms, ablations, stents, biopsies, drainages, and hemodynamic monitoringExperience with Siemens and Phillips equipment requiredPerforms specialized procedures such as stents, ablations, angioplasty, kyphoplasty, paracentesis, and thoracentesisHandles peripherals, biopsies, drainages, vascular, genitourinary, neurological studies, and venous accessWorks with team members to provide care across all age groups in a dynamic hospital environmentAll requests for time off must be included at initial consideration and are limited to 3-4 daysHigh cost of living in the area should be considered prior to accepting the assignmentOpen to first-time travelers meeting experience criteriaCOVID-19 vaccination is required prior to start\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years interventional radiology experience required; first-time travelers must have over 4 years experienceActive CA Fluoroscopy Permit, BLS, and CRT required prior to startIV start, phlebotomy, EKG, PACS, portables, C-arm, and contrast administration requiredInpatient setting experience required; outpatient, ER, Level I trauma, community hospital, and adult ICU experience preferredExperience with Siemens and Phillips equipment required; GE, Toshiba, Acuson, Hitachi preferredEPIC charting experience preferredCOVID-19 vaccination requiredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
