Personal Injury Attorney

We have an immediate opening for a prelitigation attorney. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the prelitigation management of client files starting with the initial intake all the way through negotiating a resolution. Depending upon experience, the salary ranges from $110,000 to $150,000 per year, inclusive of bonus. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM.

• RESPONSIBILITIES

Excellent communication skills are essential for communication with clients, providers, adjusters, and coworkers

Will communicate with clients by phone, email and address questions and concerns and provide updates

Will communicate with healthcare providers to ensure client's medical treatment is progressing as necessary

Will communicate with insurance adjusters regarding liability determinations and to negotiate clients' claims

Will manage client cases based upon liability determinations, medical treatment, healthcare coverage, etc.

Will provide directions to prelitigation case managers to management of clients cases

Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to prelitigation case managers and support staff

Review and finalize settlement demands

Accomplish settlements where appropriate and prepare cases for litigation if necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

Admission to the State Bar of Arizona

Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with clients, adjusters, healthcare providers and coworkers

Strong communication skills, including verbal and written

Strong oral advocacy

Excellent time management skills

Strong persuasive skills

Excellent ethical values

Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong understanding of Arizona personal injury law

Experience managing prelitigation personal injury cases
