Responsibilities
Build internal applications and processes that support statistical analysis, natural language processing, and data-driven decision-making across departments.
Develop and maintain data pipelines that support modeling and reporting, leveraging data from our business intelligence systems and external sources.
Integrate and link data across multiple corporate platforms—including Marketing, Accounting, Development, and Acquisitions—to support cross-functional analytics and modeling efforts.
Regular worksite attendance in accordance with Company’s Attendance Policy is required for this position.
Other duties as assigned :
Periodic special projects and duties may be assigned based on Company need and requirements.
Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another, with frequent interruptions or distractions and within tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, or similar from an accredited college or university is required.
Equivalent work experience, internships, personal projects may be substituted for educational requirements.
2+ years of on-the-job experience in data analytics and / or data science preferred or an advanced degree equivalent.
Familiarity with marketing data (i.e., Google Analytics) a plus.
Required Skills
Proficient usage of Microsoft SQL Server for data extraction and transformation.
Proficient usage of Python for machine learning, statistical modeling, and automation.
Familiarity with IDE tools and markdown-based text editors (e.g., Visual Studio, VS Code, Notepad++).
Solid understanding of data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
Excellent computer skills, including CLI / Shell interface use, GUI navigation, and keyboard shortcuts.
Awareness of data integrity, security, and safe programming practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, and Outlook—with advanced Excel skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments.
Proactive, self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively while exercising diplomacy, sound judgment, and tact.
Ability to work effectively with co-workers, department managers, and external partners.
Ability to work flexible hours depending on departmental project deadlines and / or Company events and sponsored programs.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Microsoft PowerShell for automation and scripting.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of containerization tools like Docker.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake) for scalable data science workflows.
Working knowledge of Linux environments.
