The Role

We’re hiring a Newsdesk Editorial Lead to coordinate RoxomTV’s rapid response during breaking news. You’ll sit at the center of our newsroom, tracking the pulse of the market, syncing with production, sourcing expert guests, and shaping live narratives that cut through the noise.

This role demands sharp editorial judgment, nerves of steel, and multi-platform agility. You’ll work side by side with hosts, producers, and guests to deliver live coverage that’s fast, insightful, and impossible to ignore.

Key Responsibilities

Narrative Development

  • Track global news, culture, and entertainment headlines for Bitcoin and financial market impact.
  • Monitor X (Twitter) in real time to spot breaking stories, sentiment shifts, and viral commentary, in coordination with the programming lead.
  • Draft and refine talking points to guide daily show narratives around price, regulation, and macro news.
  • Provide live bullet-point news aggregation to shows and producers, both in writing and on calls when needed.

Live Guest Pipeline Management

  • Manage and update the live guest CRM with the programming lead.
  • Maintain direct communications (WhatsApp, Telegram, email, phone, X DMs) with top guests ready to go live.
  • Lead expert outreach during emergency press conference–style shows around breaking news, ensuring one message, one link, one action.

    • Social Media Amplification

  • Ensure high-impact or breaking news is executed across RoxomTV social channels.
  • Aggregate the day’s most important breaking news and distribute it to the social team, hosts, and producers for amplification.

    • Show Coordination

  • Work closely with hosts and producers to maintain editorial focus.
  • Suggest follow-up questions, narrative pivots, or guest transitions in real time.
  • Act as the nerve center between editorial, outreach, and operations during breaking moments.

  • Strong editorial judgment with a nose for market-moving stories.
  • Fast under pressure : thrives in live, unscripted environments.
  • Experienced in financial, Bitcoin, or macro news coverage.
  • Skilled communicator who can handle guests, hosts, and breaking updates simultaneously.
  • Comfortable across X (Twitter), Slack, Email, Telegram, and live-stream tools.
  • Flexible schedule, with availability to cover major fast-developing stories outside of 9–5.
  • Primarily available in US time zones during market hours.
