Security Officer - Cre Unarmed Patrols Flex

As a Security Officer - Cre Unarmed Patrols Flex in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will be key in providing exceptional customer service while supporting access control and responding to various situations as needed. Pay Rate : $21.11 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Assist visitors and tenants with inquiries and directions as needed.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
