Job Description

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, assisting tenants and visitors, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $20.70 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 45 PM - 07 : 15 AM

Fri 09 : 45 PM - 06 : 15 AM

Sat 09 : 45 PM - 06 : 15 AM

Sun 10 : 45 PM - 07 : 15 AM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and observe for unusual activity or conditions.
  • Report and document any incidents, issues, or suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unauthorized access and / or undesirable behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with property management, tenants, and other stakeholders to provide assistance as needed and support a positive experience at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
