Freelance Art Handler

Description

UOVO, the nation’s leading storage and services provider for art, archives, and collectibles seeks a freelancer. The ideal freelance candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience working in storage and collection management and will be comfortable moving a wide range of art objects.

Core Responsibilities

• Pack artworks for transportation and storage
• Receive and release shipments, while maintaining accurate inventory records digitally and physically
• Install / de-install artworks for private viewings
• Proper handling of art objects, fragile and artistic material, antique and high-end furniture
• Breaking down crates, trash and other materials as needed
• Other ad hoc projects and tasks
