Utility Billing Customer Service Representative
The City of Lynchburg is seeking an experienced, dynamic, confident, and detail-oriented individual to provide professional customer service to the citizens of Lynchburg. The individual should be able to handle complex and routine customer situations. The individual must be a high performer and be able to work in a customer-focused team environment. They will need to have strong customer service skills in person and over the telephone and Microsoft Office skills related to database file maintenance using Windows applications.

Must successfully complete IS100 and IS700 National Incident Management (NIMS) training within 90 days if employment. May also be required to complete higher level of NIMS training as determined appropriate for the position. Depending on work assignment may be required to have a valid driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia and acceptable driving record according to City criteria. Relevant background must be completed and approved.
